The Festival del Sempoashochitl (Marigold Festival) is a vibrant celebration of culture, remembrance, and the traditions that connect us. Hosted by Shochicalli and Tualatin Hills Parks & Recreation District, the festival honors the flor de muertos—the marigold, a sacred flower that lights the way for our loved ones during Día de Muertos.
Guests will enjoy live music, Aztec dance performances, colorful altars, cultural art, and delicious food, alongside a community market full of handcrafted treasures.
Narce Rodríguez: Candles, Flowers, and Healing Energy
This year, Narce Rodríguez joins the festival as a featured artisan and community advocate, offering her handmade candles and floral creations that carry both beauty and intention.
Each candle and arrangement is crafted with care—infused with ancestral wisdom and designed to uplift, heal, and inspire connection.
Visitors can meet Narce at her booth to explore:
